| METHOD
This is one of those recipes where you
need fresh herbs. I like to use savory, thyme and majoram.
Cook the onions, fine herbs and cumin
in the butter until onions are soft. Grind almonds and bread crumbs in a
food processor with steal blade until mixture is a fine texture. Add all
ingredients except mayo in a bowl and mix. Add mayo a tbsp at a time and
work into the mixture until it holds together. Adjust salt and pepper.
Serve as a pate' with crackers. It
also makes a great sandwich spread or filling for mushrooms. |
